UNICEF said it had distributed foods and basic nutrition supplements, non-food items and hygiene kits for 350 families in Al-Ameriya district.
UNICEF said that this step came in cooperation with International Organization for Migration, World Food Programme, and UN Population Fund to ensure that basic needs of children and their families are met.
In previous statements, UNICEF reiterated that children should feel safe at their homes, schools and communities as per the 6th Article of children rights agreement.
