Tunisian, Italian Premiers discuss Libya in Rome

The Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed has discussed with his Italian counterpart, Giuseppe Conte, the latest developments of the Libyan crisis in a meeting in Rome.

Conte received a letter from the Tunisian President Kais Saied brought by Chahed to be given to Italian President Sergio Mattarella, according to Tunisia Presidency.

The Tunisian Presidency said the letter included talks of more bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and Italy.

The meeting between Chahed and Conte discussed Tuesday all issues of mutual interest, including Libya, Italy’s news agency, Aki, reported.
