Al-Shagabi accuses Bashagha, Salabi and others of corruption and stealing

The coordinator of Security Interference Force of the Interior Ministry Emad Al-Shagabi has accused in a video statement posted on social media Tuesday the Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha of transferring one billion euros overseas to import equipment for the Ministry but only armored vehicles arrived from that transaction imported by Mahfoud Damouna.

Al-Shagabi said the armored vehicles are now being sold at cars’ galleries in Tripoli, adding that he knows the group Bashagha is dealing with in Turkey to transfer the money, vowing to reveal what it is and who is behind it.

He also mentioned Ali and Ismael Salabi when talking about the huge money being transferred to Turkey, accusing Salabi brothers of forcefully displacing families, stealing money dealing with foreign countries.

Al-Shagabi said his arrest warrant was issued because he had documents, which he displayed in the 30-minute-long video, that show the money transfer receipts sent to SSTEK firm, which 218News couldn’t verify yet.

This response comes days after Bashagha ordered Al-Shagabi’s arrest for coordinating between ISIS and Ansar Al-Sharia, which Al-Shagabi denied, saying he is an employee at the Interior Ministry as part of an appointment order in 2015 and he is still on duty.
