Most Libyan cities are going to feel the chilling cold weather due to sharp drops in temperatures, especially in mountainous areas, with expectations of zero degrees Celsius in some cities and districts.
Northern areas will be seeing rainfall with some thunder clouds, while the rain will get heavier in coastal areas, which could lead to flooding and torrents, let alone some snow showers to be expected in mountainous cities.
The National Center for Meteorological Research said the rainy clouds will linger till Tuesday in most southwestern areas with temperatures between 16 and 11.
While in mountainous areas, temperatures range between 10 and 6 degrees Celsius and in southeastern areas, temperatures are between 18 and 16 degrees Celsius.
