A well-informed source has confirmed to 218News that clashes have erupted between an armed faction from Al-Zawiya and another from the military council of Zintan.
The source added that the Sunday night clashes were very violent in western Aziziya area, which is under the control of GNA armed groups.
This comes after news about the involvement of armed groups from Al-Zawiya in killing a leader from the GNA operations room that is led by Osama Juwaili.
The source indicated that the Al-Zawiya armed groups that crashed with Osama Juwaili’s armed groups on Sunday were commanded by Othman Al-Lahab. No details about the casualties were given by the source.
