SOHR: Turkey is preparing 1600 Syrian fighters to send them to Libya

Defying anger and condemnations, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Turkey is still recruiting Syrian fighters in camps in Afrin, adding that the number has reached now 1600 fighters.

The SOHR said the new group of fighters who arrived in Turkish camps are from “Sultan Murad, Sulaiman Shah and Motasem Brigade” which are all loyal to Turkey.

Turkey has been leading intensive training for the Syrian fighters before sending them to Tripoli with money awards amounting to 2500 US dollars amid talks about unknown flights from Turkey to Tripoli and Misrata, according to observers, whose details cannot be verified or refuted by 218News.

These statements by the SOHR come in line with the videos for Syrian fighters on Tripoli frontlines, which if true, they mean that the GNA has become desperate on the frontlines that are now operated by Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
