LNA spokesman says Turkish mercenaries’ buses have been destroyed in Tripoli

The spokesman for the Libyan National Army Ahmed Al-Mismari said Air Force warplanes had targeted buses carrying “Turkish mercenaries” to the frontlines in Tripoli on Friday dawn, saying all who were in the buses were killed except four.

Al-Mismari added in a presser in Benghazi on Saturday that the LNA forces are moving forward toward victory in Tripoli as the Air Force is doing missions from Sirte to borders with Tunisia.

He indicated that the speech of the General Commander Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar on Friday was very straightforward and assured all Libyans that the LNA is going to win the battle even if Turkey intervened in the conflict.

Al-Mismari said all Libyans are against terrorism and will fight terrorists and criminals as well as the Turkish intervention as neutrality in this battle can only mean “high treason”.

  1. He welcomed all protests and statements rejecting the Turkish intervention in Libya, hailing the statements made by the House of Representatives and saying they need force to be implemented.
