Qatar says it was excluded from Berlin conference but Turkey will make the balance

The Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdelrahman Al Thani said his country was left out of the list of participants at the Berlin conference, saying they had received no information regarding this decision and whether it was made by the UN or Germany.

The Qatari Foreign Minister has defended the insistence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on inviting Qatar to attend Berlin conference as the attendees backing up the Libyan National Army are more than those backing up the Government of National Accord.

He added that Qatar had already told the UN that it is ready to support the political process and Berlin conference on Libya.
