The former UN consultant and political analyst Bassel Al-Tarjman, said Washington isn’t convinced with the efforts of Germany to resolve the Libyan conflict.
In an interview with “Live Program” on 218News on Tuesday, Al-Tarjman added that Donald Trump started to back off from his current mechanism to tackle foreign issues after the failure of Italy and France and in general, the European Union, to resolve crises.
He also stressed that Washington is gathering and documenting information on Turkey’s deployment of Syrian mercenaries to Libya, including terrorists linked to ISIS.
Al-Tarjman added that the American response to Turkey won’t be easy as Ankara has been escalating its intervention without any care by other parties, especially its ally Russia.
