The US White House spokesperson said President Donald Trump had renewed his opposition to external interventions in Libya.
Trump told the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the phone that the continued foreign intervention in Libya would lead to deterioration of the situation on the ground in Libya.
The two presidents discussed the situation in Libya and Syria’s Idlib as Trump said the US wishes to see an end to the Russian support for “the atrocities done by Bashar Al-Assad regime in Syria and a start of the political solution.”
