Al-Nadouri: Libyan borders are closed; all nationals abroad must remain where they are

A high-ranking committee, commissioned by the General Command of the Libyan National Army, to follow up on the Coronavirus issues, held a press conference on Thursday, during which the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Abdelrazzaq Al-Nadouri, affirmed that all borders were closed and Libyans abroad should remain in their places of residence.

Al-Nadouri indicated that the government has enough stocks for several months, indicating that consumer associations will begin distributing these goods starting next Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Interior Minister Ibrahim Bouchnaf stressed that they will face any calls for Friday prayers at the mosques or in the public squares by the force of law, indicating that the decision of curfew will be implemented by force, adding that extending its duration is a possibility.

Bouchnaf said that they will give owners of companies and shops 48 hours to register foreign workers with the relevant authorities, or their stores will be closed.

Regarding the latest suspected Coronavirus cases, the Minister of Health, Saad Aqoub, said that the Ministry recorded 8 suspected cases of Coronavirus Wednesday, saying they had all tested negative.
