LNA units take part in anti-Coronavirus measures

After imposing curfews in areas under the control of the Libyan National Army and the Libyan government, units of the armed forces began to intensify their deployment at the entrances of various cities and main roads.

The media office of the LNA indicated that those army units were equipped and trained to perform this vital and important task and to reinforce them with health units to provide the necessary support in case of necessity.

The media office said that this step came to implement the decision of the Commander of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, and to prevent going out as a precautionary measure to combat the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic.

The Libyan government had adopted strict measures to address any possible outbreak of the Coronavirus epidemic, whose presence was recorded in all of Libya’s neighboring countries, and most of the countries around the world.
