The number of deaths due to coronavirus pandemic worldwide increased to 42,387, while the number of cases infected with the virus jumped to 861,295, as 178,668 people worldwide recovered from COVID-19.
Italy still tops the list of countries with the highest number of deaths globally with 12.428, followed by Spain with 8464 and the United States with 4.056.
As for the numbers of infected people, the United States topped the list of countries with the virus spread with 188,592 cases, then Italy with 105,792, Spain with 95,923, while China came fourth with 81,554 cases.
