Bani Walid under heavy airstrikes, Werfallah Social Council blames Presidential Council for it

Turkish drones haven’t left the skies over Bani Walid over the last few days, as their airstrikes haven’t differentiate between fuel tankers and foodstuffs or water tanks for civilians.

The latest airstrikes near Tinenai, south of Bani Walid, resulted in the death of two civilians, and targeted an ambulance on Tariq Al-Mana 51, let alone the destruction of the road linking the city to Ashmikh area.

Eyewitnesses from Bani Walid told 218News that one of the airstrikes hit a civilian car loaded with a food cargo heading to a store in the city, adding that it had resulted in material damage.

Operation Peace Storm was launched by the Government of National Accord a few days ago and its main player was the Turkish drones whose job was not bringing peace for the people of Bani Walid as their bombing damaged the infrastructure of the city and people’s properties.

The Social Council of Werfallah Tribes held the Presidential Council responsible for the bombing of the city, demanding that it stop these operations.

Bani Walid residents see the ongoing airstrikes and the justification for them as false pretenses, since those who are affected by the air raids are civilians.
