LNA sends military reinforcements to fighting frontlines

The General Command of the Libyan National Army is advancing on two large frontlines at the orders of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

On Saturday, footage showed the movement of the Cornet Battalion of the Tariq bin Ziyad Brigade to carry out military missions in the fighting axes east of Misurata city, specifically in the vicinity of Abu Grein area, where the armed forces are still mobilizing forces against armed groups of the Government of National Accord.

Meanwhile, Al-Asifa Battalion completed its preparations in Al-Kish Square in Benghazi and moved its equipment and personnel to reinforce the military units positioned on frontlines, according to the military media office.

The media office stated Saturday that the Air Force warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting a number of locations, including positions of armed formations in Um Akhrab region, and other sites used to storing weapons and ammunition in Al-Quddahiya area, south of Abu Grein.

As for Tripoli frontlines, Mashroa Al-Hadba saw sporadic clashes, as heavy artillery shelling lingered in Sabea and as random shells fell on Qasr Bin Ghashir area, which is nearly a daily scene amid the pandemic of Coronavirus, water cutoffs and power outages.
