The Libyan National Army arrested the assistant companion of the terrorist “Hisham Ashmawi” whose real name was according to the identification card “Mohamed Mohamed El Sayed”, and then military intelligence transferred him to Benghazi.

Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, the spokesman for the General Command of the Libyan National Army, confirmed in his press conference in Benghazi on Wednesday the arrest of “Mohamed El-Sayed” A.K.A. “Mohamed Sanbakhti”.

Al-Mismari said that the Libyan Military Intelligence Department “managed to arrest a dangerous terrorist wanted by Egypt” called, among his other names, “Abu Khaled Munir”.

Al-Mismari clarified that he is an “Egyptian national terrorist” and that he is as dangerous as the terrorist Hisham Ashmawi, who was executed in Egypt.

“He participated in the bombing of Coptic churches in Egypt, and he also has two brothers imprisoned in Cairo on terrorism charges.” Al-Mismari said.

The detained terrorist had been in the Ghout Al-Shaal area in Tripoli in September 2019, and he was arrested by intelligence agents in the capital and deported to Benghazi successfully, according to Al-Mismari.
