LNA comabt patrols deployed in southwest Libya

Patrols consisting of the military units of the Libyan National Army (LNA) were launched in a broad security campaign to impose security inside Murzuq and Ubari basins, and to secure the entire border located in the southern region – according to the Military Information Department of the LNA.

The launch of these armed patrols in the desert is in implementation of the orders of the General Command of the Libyan National Army, which requires raising the state of maximum alert to impose security control in the entire Libyan south.

Military Information Department of the LNA reported that the patrols moved to the Murzuq and Ubari basins to impose security, combat crime, arrest smugglers and outlaws, and secure the Libyan borders located in the entire region that borders Algeria, Niger and Chad.
