The committee monitoring the performance of the National Oil Corporation in the House of Representatives expressed surprise and condemnation at enabling the Board of Directors of the Brega Oil Marketing Company, which was appointed based on General Assembly Resolution No. 50 of 2020, at the Tripoli meeting.
In a statement, the committee stated that it considered it necessary for the General Command to clarify its instructions on enabling the new board of directors to manage the company in Benghazi.
The Follow-up Committee on the Performance of the National Oil Corporation indicated that it hoped to give its opinion on the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, who is being suspected of impartiality, according to the General Command.
The Committee expressed its surprise that there are instructions issued by the General Command to enable the decision issued by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation under the management of the Libyan government.
