Turkish drone shot down by LNA in the vicinity of Al-Watiya airbase

The Military Information Division of the National Army confirmed that the air defense of the armed forces targeted an Anka-S Turkish drone, which is dubbed as “the Phoenix,” and shot it down on the outskirts of the Uqba bin Nafeh base, or what is known as the Al-Watiya airbase.

The confirmation of the Military Information Division comes after several social media posts of a video of a Turkish fighter plane being burned after being targeted in the vicinity of Al-Watiya  airbase, on Saturday morning.

Clashes are still continuing in more than one axis between the national army units and the forces supporting them, and the Government of National Accord forces accompanied by the Syrian mercenaries who were pushed by the Turkish presidency to defend the GNA.
