A security source told 218News that an Italian intelligence delegation will arrive in the capital, Tripoli, next Wednesday, to meet the Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, and the Minister of Interior in the Government of National Accord, Fathi Bashagha.
The source said that another delegation of the Italian intelligence will arrive Monday, via Tripoli Mitiga Airport, to transfer two employees of the Italian embassy in Tripoli and replace them with others.
The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, in a phone call with Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, on Saturday renewed his country’s rejection of the military solution to the Libyan crisis, stressing Italian support for the political solution and dialogue between the conflicting parties.
