Erdogan admits Turkish soldiers’ contribution to GNA advances

In a public recognition of his country’s interference in Libya, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan acknowledged the leadership of the Turkish forces for the GNA Brigades during the military operations that led to the control of the city of Tarhuna.

Erdogan indicated in his speech that the Turkish military personnel present in Libya are “marching towards achieving the desired goals and implementing the targeted plans, underlining heroic battles in Libya, whether in Tripoli, Tarhuna or the surrounding areas.”

The Turkish President stressed that the solidarity shown by Ankara with the government of reconciliation in Libya, and the advisory services provided, and the contribution of Turkish drones in the destruction of many sites and positions of the Libyan National Army, showed the strength of Turkey’s performance.
