Bashagha: Levy’s visit to Libya was used to set political scores

The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Accord Fathi Bashagha, said that the GNA did not officially invite any journalist to visit Libya, and that some parties arw trying to set political scores by using this issue.

Bashagha’s tweet came after the controversy surrounding the visit of Bernard Levy, a French intellectual, writer and politician, to Libya.

The Interior Minister explained in different tweets that any visit by a journalist without an official invitation from the Libyan government does not have any political significance representing the GNA.

Bashagha added that tye public opinion is absolutely free to deal and interact with any public event, adding that some parties took advantage of the event in order to set political scores.
