218News tracks visit of mysterious Libyan delegation with ambiguous agenda to Turkey

A source revealed to 218News that a delegation belonging to the General Administration of Central Security Abu Salim, led by Abdul Ghani Al-Kikli “Ghaniwa”, had arrived in Istanbul from Rome, and the delegation was received by a Libyan businessman named “Mohammad Fathallah”.

Upon the arrival of the delegation, headed by Osama Talish, to Istanbul Airport, its members moved to their place of residence aboard a “Range Rover” and “Mercedes” cars bearing Libyan license plates to hotel apartments in the “Nisantasi” area, the main door of which is guarded by 3 security men of Turkish nationality and were likely to be special guards for this delegation hired for security reasons.

The delegation met after its arrival with the so-called “Mohammad Fathallah” and the discussion centered on the decisions taken by the Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, recently including the decision to appoint Lutfi Al-Hariri to the position of Deputy Head of the Internal Security Agency.

The meeting touched on the actions taken by the commander of the 301 Brigade, Abdel Salam Al-Zubi, in the Al-AKawakh neighborhood and the airport road, which are areas under the influence of the General Administration of Central Security Abu Salim under the leadership of “Ghaniwa”, expressing his rejection of the decision to appoint Al-Hariri to this position, and the response that must be taken regarding what he is doing.

On the reasons for the delegation preferring to stay in hotel apartments instead of hotels as is usual, the source told 218News that this decision comes for several reasons: keeping away from the gaze of the “reconciliation forces” who are receiving treatment in many Turkish hospitals and staying in hotels, adding that they will be on a date with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Mohammad Haitham, who asked them to stay away from hotels, and it is expected that he will arrive in Istanbul to meet this delegation after he was done with renewing his residence permit in Germany.

The source pointed out that they chose the “Nisantasi” region specifically because of the lack of Libyan community in it, which reassured the delegation as it was afraid of being subject to public or get documented in photos with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health of the Government of National Accord.
