After Hurghada talks, Al-Mahjoub says stability in Libya has become “very attainable”

The director of the Libyan National Army’s Moral Guidance Department, Major General Khaled Al-Mahjoub, commented on the Libyan military leaders’ meetings that the Egyptian city of Hurghada hosted, saying that the stability of Libya has become close.

Al-Mahjoub added in statements to “Sada Al-Balad” channel that the talks of Libyan delegations hosted by Egypt under the auspices of the United Nations are based on the “Cairo Declaration Initiative.”

The Director of the Moral Guidance Department of the Libyan National Army reiterated the rejection of Turkish intervention in Libya, praising the move to transfer the military talks to Egypt, describing it as a “positive sign.”

Al-Mahjoub indicated that the negotiations concluded the necessity of reaching real ideas to solve the armed formations, with an agreement on the importance of having weapons in the hands of the army and unifying state institutions.

He stressed that the mercenaries sent by Ankara to fight in Libya began to leave the country.
