Libya’s oil production reaches 500K bpd, Bloomberg says

Libya recorded a significant increase in oil production compared to the beginning of this month, reaching 500.000 barrels per day, by Thursday, according to “Bloomberg”, citing informed sources.

Bloomberg, a leader in the field of energy, said that the production of the Sharara field rose to about 110.000 barrels per day, while the average exports during the first half of October reached about 385.000 barrels per day.

In its report, Bloomberg indicated that JP MORGAN & CO expected oil production in Libya to reach “one million barrels per day” by next March, in case the stability in the oil fields and ports area continues.
