The Secretary-General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, welcomed the Libyan agreement on a permanent ceasefire, signed by the two delegations of the security track in Libya at Geneva talks.
Stoltenberg affirmed NATO’s support for the efforts of the United Nations to find a peaceful solution to the crisis in Libya.
The Secretary-General of NATO clarified that this agreement is the first serious step to find a peaceful solution in Libya, calling on all parties to the conflict in Libya to abide by and respect the ceasefire agreement, according to what was reported by the Libyan news agency in Tripoli.
