Libyan Dialogue Forum is a critical stage in Libya’s history

International Relations Professor Masoud Al-Salami said that the political dialogue that will bring together the Libyan parties in Tunisia is a good step because there are many things that have changed after the Geneva 5 + 5 agreement, in addition to the presence of international momentum and local and international will, all of which indicate that the upcoming dialogue next month will be a stage, which perhaps will be a specific agreement will be reached in addition to the 5+5 agreement that will establish a permanent ceasefire, which is an important stage especially in terms of confidence-building.

Al-Salami added, in an interview on the Live TV program on 218News, on Monday, that the 5+5 agreement gave a strong potential to the Tunis dialogue to reach a specific agreement, wondering about the type and value of this agreement and whether it will satisfy Libyans or establish a next stage on sound grounds.

Al-Salami indicated that there is information regarding the selection of the list of people who will attend this meeting, expressing his belief that the United Nations Mission in Libya is serious this time and that the active countries behind this dialogue will seek to reach results that will appear after the meeting Tunisia.
