The former UN envoy for support in Libya, Dr. Ghassan Salame, said that the decisions issued by the meeting of the Libyan Joint Military Committee in Ghadames reflected a restored national spirit and went in the right direction towards stabilizing the ceasefire, normalizing the security situation, and implementing the Geneva Agreement and Resolution 2510.
Salame described on Twitter what the joint military committee’s discussions had nominated for, the decisions of “new progress,” and concluded by saying: “Congratulations for this new progress and for more at the next meeting.”
