Sanalla launches verbal attack on CBL Governor, fat cats and dinosaurs

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, launched a sharp attack on the governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, and held him responsible for wasting billions of dollars of oil revenues that he said the Libyans were more interested in.

Sanallah spoke, in a sharp tone, in a video published by the NOC on Sunday evening, saying that the Central Bank considers the Oil Corporation a “milking cow” and gives money to “fat cats, dinosaurs and monsters,” calling for an end to tampering with the money of Libyans, as happened in selling dollars at official rates.

Sanalla renewed his adherence to the corporation’s retention of the financial revenues of exporting oil abroad, with the Libyan Foreign Bank, and said that “those currently cynical about the oil money did not issue a single statement against the oil closures,” referring to the Central Bank.

Sanalla stressed the need for transparency in spending billions and selling dollars at the official rate, stressing that the corporation will not transfer any money to the Central Bank until it becomes clear to it how to spend it.
