Turkish artists throw a ceremony for their soldiers in Tripoli’s Mitiga airport in presence of Bashagha, Al-Mishri

A source revealed to 218News that the Turkish military delegation that visited Tripoli Saturday was late to the previously scheduled date to leave the country due to a ceremony organized by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar for Turkish soldiers belonging to the Joint Operations Room at Mitiga Airport.

The ceremony was performed by an singer, accompanied by two other artists, all of them from Turkey, who arrived in Tripoli with the Turkish military delegation headed by Akar, the Chief of Staff of the Army and other Turkish military leaders, according to the source.

218News previously learned that the Turkish delegation would leave the capital via Mitiga Airport at 8:00 pm, before the flight was delayed by an hour and a half until the end of the ceremony.

Regarding the personalities who attended the ceremony from the Libyan side, the same source confirmed the presence of the Head of the High Council of State, Khaled al-Mishri and the Minister of Interior of the Government of National Accord, Fathi Bashagha, at the invitation of the Turkish Minister of Defense.
