Egyptian delegation’s visit to Tripoli is a message to Turkey

The Egyptian journalist specializing in Libyan affairs, Mohamed Amer, confirmed that the Egyptian delegation’s visit to Tripoli comes within Cairo’s keenness to have channels of communication with the various parties to the Libyan crisis.

Journalist Mohamed Amer said, during his speech on “LIVE” program on “218News”, on Sunday, that the timing of the visit has many indications, among which is that Egypt wants to prove that it is capable of being in western Libya.

The Egyptian journalist indicated that Cairo wants to destroy what Ankara is trying to say that the Libyan West is subject to Turkey, and that the visit has a message that Egypt is in the Libyan West, in Tripoli, as part of a security delegation, regardless of what will be discussed in this visit.

“The message is clear, to Turkey, that Egypt has the ability to move in Libya, north, east and south, and this is the first message that reaches Turkey.”
