Libya: Hatteen Brigade withdraws military vehicles from coastal road

The commander of the Hatteen Brigade, Omar Muhammad Azam, wrote to the head of the military commission “5 +5” of the “GNA”, confirming the battalion’s commitment to what resulted from the agreement of the military commission regarding the opening of the coastal road and the relocation of units and brigades.

The battalion of the Central Military Region, stationed on the coastal road in the “Birat Al-Hassoun” region, indicated that it will return all its personnel and vehicles to its headquarters, today, January 02, in implementation of the commission’s orders.

The 5+5 military commission had recently reached an agreement on coordination to reopen the coastal road linking the east and west of the country via the city of “Sirte”.
