Al-Sirraj, US ambassador reiterate need to stop negative interventions in Libya

The Head of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, Fayez Al-Sarraj, discussed, at his residence in the Italian capital, Rome, with the Ambassador of the United States to Libya, Richard Norland, the latest developments in Libya.

In a statement, Al-Sarraj’s media office stated that the meeting “dealt with the progress achieved in the tracks of resolving the Libyan crisis, including the military-security track, and the political and economic tracks.”

The statement indicated that the two sides stressed “the necessity of stopping negative foreign interference in Libyan affairs, and supporting the tracks to achieve their goals of establishing security, stability and economic recovery.”
