Security force moves to Tarhuna two days after “vendetta protests”

A force from the Law Enforcement Department affiliated to the General Administration of Security Operations set out from Tripoli Sunday for the city of Tarhuna in order to extend security, stability and law, as well as to support its Security Directorate and the security agencies operating within it, preventing any security breaches and controlling order on the city’s public street – as described by media office of the Government of National Accord’s Interior Ministry.

This move comes after angry demonstrations in the city of Tarhuna by protesters who were previously affected and who attacked citizens of the city and burned the homes of loyalists of the National Army, due to their links with those who participated in the war operations in the city of Tripoli and various towns.
