A number of participants in the Political Dialogue Forum demanded the exclusion of all candidates for the upcoming executive authority positions who hold high positions in current institutions, whose internal regulations do not allow them to run for these positions.
218News obtained a document saying the participants called on the members of the Political Dialogue Forum to work to exclude all candidates who violate the Libyan laws and regulations, stressing the need for adherence to the roadmap issued by the forum.
The document stressed that there shouldn’t be precedents of this kind; as they lead to the legalization of such grave breaches.
