Within the framework of arranging to hold a session of Parliament to give confidence to the new government, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, accompanied by Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, met with members of the 5 + 5 joint military commission.
The meeting aimed at examining the possibility of holding a parliament session to vote on granting confidence to the government of “Dbeibah” in the city of Sirte, which recently hosted dialogue sessions between members of the 5 + 5 Joint Military Commission.
In a related context, Dbeibah, together with members of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi and Mossa Al-Koni, held their first meeting after their election in Geneva from the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, which comes after a tour of visits by Menfi and Dbeibah to several Libyan cities in the east, south and west.
