Di Maio: Approving new Libyan government is important step toward stability

The Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, renewed his assurances on the importance of the Libyan Parliament meeting on March 8th, to give confidence to the new national unity government.

Di Maio’s statements came during a press conference with the French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome, where Di Maio said that this appointment is the fast way in the process of stabilizing Libya.

He added that Libya has entered a decisive stage in its course, which is an important transformation, explaining that it is the result of the international community’s great efforts for it, especially the United Nations.
