Libya is expecting the political dialogue forum to be convened at the end of this month, to discuss the constitutional basis, at a time when a member of the Legal Committee, Zahra Langi, called on the UN mission to hold a consultative session, prior to that, to seek public opinion on the outstanding issues regarding the constitutional basis.
Meanwhile, the UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis, ended an Arab and European tour, the last stop of which was the Italian capital, Rome, to mobilize support for holding elections next December and block the way on the spoilers.
For its part, Germany is moving in coordination with Italy to organize an international conference on Libya next June, and this conference is scheduled to discuss the challenges facing the new authority in Libya, especially the organization of elections and the expulsion of foreign mercenaries from the country.
