Upon Erdogan’s instructions, Turkish delegation visits Tripoli with “unknown agenda”

A high-level Turkish delegation visited Libya, under the instructions of President Recep Erdogan, before the NATO summit scheduled for Monday, in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

The delegation includes Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Interior Minister, Foreign Minister, and Intelligence Chief.

It also includes a high-level delegation that includes Presidential Spokesperson and Acting National Security Adviser Ibrahim Kalin, and Presidential Information Authority Chief.

Initial information indicated that the defense minister and the intelligence chief headed, upon their arrival, to the headquarters of the Turkish forces stationed west of Mitiga Airbase.

The visit is scheduled to last for one day, during which the delegation will meet; Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, and meetings are held with Libyan counterparts, and the Turkish delegation is expected to meet the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammad Menfi.
