Libya, Egypt discuss organizing trade exchange

The First Deputy Prime Minister Hussein Al-Qatrani met with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Egyptian Embassy, ​​Tamer Mustafa, and the official responsible for the Libyan file at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Mohammad Taruath.

During the meeting, they discussed organizing the trade and economic exchange between the two countries, in addition to facilitating the procedures for entering Egyptian workers and organizing their presence in the Libyan territories according to the need of the market.

The Minister of Labor in the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, had agreed with his Egyptian counterpart, Mohamed Saafan, during his visit to Egypt last June, on the necessity of activating the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries on facilitating the movement of travelers and setting mechanisms to attract Egyptian workers to work in the reconstruction of Libya.
