Libyan PM: Merkel asked me to open door for Libyans’ immigration to Germany

Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah said in a video statement, which was reported by media, that German Chancellor Angela Merkel;  asked him, during his last visit to Germany, to open the doors of immigration of Libyans to Germany.

Dbeibah added that Merkel’s request came based on her knowledge of the capabilities and experiences of Libyans, as he put it, and that she had clear and detailed reports that prompted her to request that.

It is noteworthy that Dbeibah visited Germany last June to participate in the Berlin 2 Conference on Libya, with a wide international and international presence.
