Algeria keen on Libya stability, President Tebboune tells Al-Mangoush

As part of an official visit to Algeria, Minister of Foreign Affairs Najla Al-Mangoush held a bilateral meeting with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune; to discuss relations between the two countries, and to review the latest developments in the political process in Libya.

According to the official page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Facebook, Tebboune reiterated, on Tuesday, his country’s full support for the unity government, and the steps taken to achieve stability in Libya.

The meeting reviewed the progress of the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support them in all fields, as well as consultations on the latest developments in Libya, including the preparation for the Paris International Conference on Libya.

It is noteworthy that the Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra confirmed to Al-Mangoush Saturday his country’s support for holding simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections on December 24, according to the outcomes of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, the recommendations of the Berlin conferences, and the relevant Security Council resolutions.
