The Ministry of Justice announced the formation of a committee to investigate the circumstances of the attack on the Sebha court, and to refer the perpetrators to the judiciary.
In a statement, the ministry stressed that protecting the courts is an inherent competence of the judicial police.
This came after an attack on the Sebha courts complex, which the ministry described as “dangerous” because of its repercussions on social and political peace.
It is noteworthy that the attack on the courts complex in Sebha occurred after the start of the appeals process by the candidates excluded from the presidential race, according to the preliminary list.
