Al-Nadori, Al-Haddad stress need to end bloodshed and war in Libya

The meeting of Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Haddad and Lieutenant General Abdel Raziq Al-Nadori on Saturday in the city of Sirte, discussed the development of organized and basic mechanisms and steps to unify the military institution; in order to build a Libyan army away from all political strife through the formation of joint committees for this purpose, in addition to developing a comprehensive plan to organize the militants and armed formations.

The meeting stressed the sanctity of Libyan blood, the absence of internal strife, the unity of the Libyan territory, securing the borders, combating illegal immigration and organized crime, as well as emphasizing that the army’s mission is to protect the homeland, the ccitizens and the constitution.

The meeting also witnessed an emphasis on non-militarization of the state, non-politicization of the military institution, support for efforts to establish a civil state, and hailed the efforts and steps taken by the 5+5 Joint Military Commission.

The official page of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, through its official page on the Facebook platform, described the meeting as a friendly, consultative meeting in Libya.
