Since the early morning hours of Tuesday, the city of Tripoli witnessed military reinforcements in several areas of the city.
An exclusive source from the Tripoli Protection Force told 218News hat the streets of Ain Zara, Al-Khela and Bab Bani Ghashir were closed with sand berms, in conjunction with the spread of military vehicles in the area, while there were reports of the closure of some schools, and teachers asked students to return to their homes.
The source stated that armed battalions affiliated with the Ministry of Defense had begun to encircle the capital, to block roads so brigades from other cities that intended to ignite a war in the center of Tripoli cannot make a move .
These moves come three days before the election date, which has become a fait accompli in light of the officials’ delay of the announcement of the postponement and the continuation of the policy of silence.
