Source to 218News: UK appoints two former anti-terrorism officials at its Libya embassy

An exclusive source told 218News that the British government assigned former anti-terror officials to work at the British Embassy in Libya.

The source added that the two officials are former anti-terror prosecutors, Patrick Steves and Mark Carroll.

These developments come less than two days after the statements of the British ambassador to Libya, in which she announced continuous recognition of the current government, which provoked angry reactions in the Libya, amid several calls to expel the ambassador from the country.
