Bashagha says in Misurata: There won’t be a conflict with the current executive authority

The advisor to the Prime Minister-designate who was named by the House of Representatives, Fathi Bashagha, to replace Abdulhamid Dbeibah, Ahmed Al-Ruwaiati, said that Bashagha’s visit to Misurata was characterized by openness and honesty with the most prominent leaders of Misurata who support the current government, or who are hesitant and opposed to the political map launched by Parliament and the High Council of State a few days ago.

Al-Ruwaiati noted Bashagha’s assertion not to exclude, marginalize, retaliate against or overpower any party, pointing out his assertion not to move towards any clash with the current authority, and that the exchange of power will take place in a safe and peaceful manner, in light of the strong, integrated and successive legitimacy at all official levels.

It is noteworthy that Bashagha held a meeting at the headquarters of the Misurata Municipal Council, where he met with members of the Misurata Municipal Council and the Council of Elders in the city.
