Al-Kabir reviews Libyan general expenditures for 2022 with US Treasury

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, discussed with the United States envoy to Libya Richard Norland and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury Eric Mayer, public financial spending in Libya during 2022.

According to the bank’s statement, the meeting, which was held online on Sunday, dealt with various files, including the mechanisms for unifying the Central Bank of Libya, and the stages completed in that process, as well as the economic situation and monetary policy.

Last week, Al-Kabir held a series of meetings with the ambassadors of countries to discuss joint cooperation, including his meeting with the German ambassador to Libya, the ambassador of Malta, and the Egyptian ambassador  . and Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi
