Shakshak urges Libyan Central Bank to transfer necessary funds for patients’ treatment abroad

The Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, demanded the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Siddiq Al-Kabir, approve medical treatment funds for patients abroad to maintain their health and to ensure the success of the regulatory measures that have taken place in the recent period.

Shakshak called, in a letter addressed to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, on Thursday, for avoiding putting the blame on patients for the consequences and mistakes of others, especially what the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, is doing in withholding oil revenues outside the framework of the law.

Shakshak warned of stopping the provision of treatment services to patients in some countries, as a result of the growing debts and the delay of the Ministry of Health in payment, pointing to the address of the Prime Minister of the Unity Government, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, in this regard.
