The 444th Combat Brigade confirmed the deployment of 500 soldiers from the combat units in the city of Tarhuna, in application of the speed of movement maneuver and simulation of the deployment and concentration areas.
The brigade of the Tripoli Military District, whose forces are deployed in the areas southeast of Tripoli, Tarhuna and Bani Walid, said in a post that the latest measure came to address any tampering or sabotage acts that destabilize security and stability in the Tarhuna region.
The 444th Combat Brigade had earlier prevented the military convoy of the Libyan Prime Minister, Fathi Bashagha, from passing through the city of Tarhuna to Tripoli, which prompted it to station itself in the Zatarna area before resuming its withdrawal to the city of Misurata.
